I’ve been documenting people and moments for as long as I can remember, first picking up a camera at 15 and quickly finding myself immersed in live events and fast-paced environments. Those early years shaped the way I see, anticipate, and capture moments as they unfold naturally.
Since then, my work has taken me across the UK and beyond, documenting weddings with a calm, considered approach. Today, my focus is simple: to create imagery that feels effortless, honest, and timeless, photographs that allow you to relive not just how your day looked, but exactly how it felt.

From the Beginning
I’m truly blessed to have been given this opportunity in life to become a photographer.
I first picked up a camera when I was 15 and was almost immediately thrown in at the deep end with event photography! Honestly, talk about being in the right place at the right time!
Throughout the next two years, I was photographing the nightlife industry and smaller events week in and week out, which helped me book my first wedding! At age 17, I created my brand as “Photographer Liam Gillan” so I could keep all of my images in one place, create a portfolio, and maybe try to make something of all this experience.
During my first two years of documenting weddings, I was given the opportunity to travel to Northern Ireland and several locations throughout the UK. I found myself in the fortunate position where I’ve never stopped photographing weddings.
We’ve gained a wonderful reputation through word of mouth, and I’ve been able to build and grow a team around the passion I have for photography!
