I had the privilege of accompanying a good friend of mine for His wedding at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon.
Michelle & Jamie
We started off the day at Michelle & Jamie's home in Leigh-On-Sea, where I accompanied Michelle and her Bridal party during the morning preparations.
This was lovely as it was a nice and relaxing start. We planned to have Hair and Make-up at home, and capturing the detailed shots and getting the dresses on actually at Crabbs Barn.
Shortly after leaving, I accompanied our groom "Jamie" to a local pub, only 10 minutes away from the venue.
We captured some amazing Groomsmen photo's, they Gent's had a beer or two and the kids stocked up on Coca-cola.
Arriving at Crabbs Barn is always a lovely visit, especially with the gorgeous blossom trees upon the entrance. However, due to the time of the year, many of the plants and tree's were not in bloom, also not helping was the dreaded "Beast from the East".
However, that didn't stop us capturing some amazing photos.
The day unfolded perfectly, apart from the Weather which unfortunately wasn't on our side, but that didn't dampen the spirits of our Bride & Groom, and we rocked out the umbrella's and made full advantage of puddles we found.
As I stated at the beginning, I'm good friends with Jamie, who additionally is also a Wedding Photographer, but not at any point was it any harder to capture than Brides and grooms who aren't Wedding photographers. It was a lovely wedding and I'm honoured to have been asked.
