On the 28th May 2017, I had the pleasure of meeting Tse & Michelle to help capture their wedding day at the Luxury 5 Star Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard, London City.
It was a wonderful day, lots of Sunshine, A very happy Bride & Groom and lots of wonderful family and friends accompanying Tse & Michelle on their wedding day.
This was my first time capturing a Chinese Wedding, but with the structure slightly different from the Traditional English Wedding, It was a very interesting and insightful. We started with the Groom & Groomsmen at The London Bridge Hotel, and shortly after making our way up to the 34th/35th Floor of The Shard to meet our Bride.
On this day, I was working alongside Scott Miller & The Creative Team at Boutique Wedding Film & Photography.
They started off their day with the original Tea Ceremony, which is a traditional propriety, this act is respect and gratitude for her parents for all the years of Love & Care. Then shortly after the Tea Ceremony, Michelle got changed into her wonderful white wedding dress, to then see her husband-to-be looking back down the aisle at her.
After we had completed the Civil Ceremony and captured all the Traditional Family shots, we then whisked the newlyweds away to the 52nd Floor to capture some beautiful shots by the Swimming pool, let me tell you, you couldn't have set up better photo opportunities, it was stunning!
They then made their way downstairs for their evening meal, which was accompanied by speeches and lots of thankful and thoughtful messages.
Capturing wedding photography here at The Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard was wonderful, and I would love the opportunity to go back.
Here are some images from the day.
